• STEP 2 (PROVIDE DETAILS & TEXT): Choose your font style. Enter the names, wedding dates, initials, or custom phrase you want engraved alongside the floral design in the personalization box at checkout. If you prefer only the floral illustration without custom text, simply type "No Text."

• STEP 3 (FAST DESIGN MOCKUP): We will send a digital mockup of your engraving via Etsy Messages within 24 hours of purchase.

• SOLID HEAVYWEIGHT STEEL / IRON: Precision machined and hand-finished from high-grade solid industrial metal for a substantial, solid feel in the hand. (This item is made of steel, which is 98% iron and 2% carbon. Any ferrous metal will contain iron in it. Iron is a very reactive element and cannot exist as a standalone element on Earth. Iron is commonly found in nature as an iron oxide ore which is also known as rust. Steel, cast iron, etc. are names for how the iron is processed and tells you a little about the properties of the metal resulting from that process. Cast iron usually has 4% carbon and 96% iron in it – meaning it has less iron in it than steel does!)

• BRUSHED SATIN FINISH: Features a beautiful, hand-brushed satin surface that highlights the deep, crisp lines of the laser-engraved floral artwork.

• RENAISSANCE WAX PROTECTION: Each dish is carefully hand-sealed with premium Renaissance Wax to protect the iron and slow down natural oxidation.

✦ SIZING, DIMENSIONS & CARE ✦

• OVERALL SIZE: Measures approximately 3.75" in diameter with a low-profile height of 3/4".

• INTENDED USE: Designed specifically for jewelry, rings, coins, and small accessories. Not recommended for food, liquids, or wet environments.

• CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Raw steel and iron will naturally develop a rich antique patina over time when exposed to humidity and natural oils. To maintain its finish, reapply a thin coat of Renaissance Wax or natural wax every few months. If you live in a humid area, we recommend reapplying renaissance wax monthly. If rusting occurs, wipe it off as soon as possible with a clean dry paper towel. If the rust is deeper, use WD-40 or any other rust inhibitor to clean off the rust. Wipe dry and apply a new coat of wax. We do not recommend using this product near water as the metal will rust.

We are Melissa and Jiun, a Southern California-based couple who hand-cut, engrave, and assemble every single piece in our workshop to order. The word "Wanderweg" translates to "hiking trail" or "path" in German. We got engaged while hiking a “wanderweg” in the Swiss Alps, which inspired us to start crafting travel-friendly, personalized keepsakes for life's biggest milestones.
